Why should you hire me to represent you?

Nurse. Lawyer. Veteran.

My name is Nicholas "Nick" Webb, and I am a nurse attorney representing clients throughout the state of California. I got my start in healthcare as an active duty Air Force medic. Then I became a licensed vocational (practical) nurse, and registered nurse (RN). Seeking to provide my patients with the best care possible, I expanded my knowledge base by earning an ASN, BSN, MSN, and doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). This is also what inspired me to become a lawyer.

Having an accomplished career in nursing and healthcare, I have experience as a house supervisor, assistant nurse manager, nursing unit manager, nursing director, chief nursing officer, regional nursing director, and regional managing director. I ran the regional patient classification and acuity system for a healthcare organization, and have overseen the electronic health and medical record system (EHR/EMR) for a major U.S. healthcare system, including leading the forensic nursing/chart accuracy unit. Experienced with electronic health and medical records, I'm board certified in nursing informatics by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (RN-BC), and am a certified professional in healthcare information and management systems (CPHIMS). I'm also a certified nurse executive (NEA-BC). I have presented at national conferences on electronic medical records, patient acuity, and nurse staffing. I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Attorneys (profile).

I pride myself on my attention to detail while never losing sight of the big picture. I'm not afraid to fight the good fight, and at the end of the day I believe that doing what is most important is doing the right thing.

I handle all cases myself and maintain a paperless law office for the sake of efficiency and the environment. I also maintain a home/virtual office to reduce my overhead costs so that I can focus on taking cases that are challenging and truly interest me. I conduct most meetings over videoconferencing (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.). I takes both contingency and retainer (flat fee and hourly) cases, and offer a free initial consultation.

In my "free" time, I love spending time with my wife of 18 years, my two teenage children, and our two rescue dogs. I enjoy traveling, trivia, and reading. I'm a lifelong learner who believes that the person who thinks they know everything truly knows nothing at all.
